Weekly Schedule:  The weekly schedule for the season is available under About Us - Director Duty.  Any switches between Directors must be confirmed by email/text copying the BBC President John Barr and the other Directors scheduled to be on duty those shifts.

Director Positions:  The three Directors for each shift manage, as decided between them:  (1) the concession tables outside the Upper Gym, (2) the game/clock in the Upper Gym, and (3) the game/clock in the Lower Gym.  The game/clock Directors are responsible for supervising the pace of play, behavior of players, coaches and spectators, and directing our high school student referees with respect to any playing rules questions and any concerns.  The concession tables Director is responsible for selling concession, paying the student referees, and directing siblings and other fans into the gyms (no basketballs bouncing in the hallways).

Early Shift - 10:45am - 2:00pm:  The early shift Directors should arrive at 10:45am to help set up the concessions, retrieve the drinks cooler from the Upper Gym closet, and make sure the scoreboard clocks are operating properly and the orange rules binders, red possession arrows, two ice packs and game basketballs are in the gyms (found in the Basement storage units) for the first Sunday games tipping off usually at 11:00am.  An early shift Director must make arrangements with the BBC Treasurer Rob Reynolds at 518-330-2421 for a cash box for the concession tables. 

Drinks Cooler:  The drinks cooler is stored in the Upper Gym closet and plugged into an outlet to the left of the Upper Gym closet doors.  The drinks cooler is plugged into an outlet in the utility room behind concession tables when in use during the games.  The top two shelves are BBC drinks and the bottom two shelves are Bethlehem Girls Basketball Club (BGBC) drinks.

Pizza:  Four pizzas will be delivered by Romo's between 11:30am and noon.  A Director should call Romo's at 518-449-5871 if the pizzas are not delivered by noon.  We do NOT have to pay for the pizza at the time of delivery - we get a bill from Romo's - the Director may give a reasonable tip to the pizza delivery person.  If the pizza starts to run low, a Director may order as many additional pizzas (usually one or two) as may be expected to be sold the balance of the day.

Late Shift - 1:45pm - 6:00pm:  The late shift Directors should arrive at 1:45pm to allow for smooth transition from the early shift Directors.  The late shift Directors are responsible for closing down the gyms and concession tables as described below.

Closing:  The late shift concession tables Director may begin to break down the concession tables after halftime of the final games usually around 5:30pm.  The drinks cooler should be restocked, returned to the Upper Gym closet, and plugged into the outlet to the left of the closet doors.  All other unsold concession items should be locked in the BBC storage units in the Basement.  Unless there is a game/event scheduled after the BBC rec games, the padded chairs used in the Lower Gym should be returned to the chair rack in the Lower Gym closet with the assistance of the players from the last Lower Gym game.  The Directors with the assistance of the coaches and players from the last games should assist the Custodian in picking up any trash or other items left in the gyms.  The Upper Gym scoreboard controller should be returned to the Upper Gym closet and NOT locked in the BBC storage units.  The Lower Gym scoreboard controller should be returned to the Lower Gym closet.  The BBC orange rules binders and red possession arrows for both gyms should be returned to the BBC storage units at the conclusion of the final games.
