WHO CAN REGISTER: LJP CHEER is open to athletes entering kindergarten thru 8th grade
SEASON DURATION: Camps start 2nd week of July with practices starting 8/1. Practices, games, and comps will run 8/1 thru the weekend leading up to Thanksgiving.
PRACTICE/GAME/COMP INFO: Practices will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday thru Aug, then Tues/Thurs after August. Practices will move to an indoor space (s) starting after Labor Day. There will be at least 1 Saturday morning practice in September TBA. Cheer only does home games (4 @LTHS) + 1 away game per team. Additional practices may be scheduled the weeks leading up to competition. There will also be mandatory competition practices before each comp, on either a Friday evening or Saturday morning.*
**All athletes TM-JV will participate in 3 MANDATORY competitions (all or none)
JV WILL BE DECLARED A 2025 TRAVEL TEAM (team spots limited and not guaranteed)
LAST SEASONS COMP DATES FOR REFERENCE: 10/20, 10/26, 11/10 with a TRAVEL WINDOW of 12/7-12/13
ATTENDANCE: Full attendance is expected on all levels.
REGISTRATION: Registration fee for the 2025 season are as follows:
Register before 3/31/2025- $450
Register 4/1/25 - 6/16/2025- $475
Register 6/17/25 - 6/30/25- $500
These fees include, 100+ hours instruction/team time, indoor space, routine music, bows, comp fees, sideline shirt, backpack, uniform rental, comp team bonding pasta party and league fees. Team placement will be decided by LJP Cheer staff. Additional fees can or will include: Cheer shoes jackets, pants/leggings, team gifts or activities.
*Please note that a $200 deposit check will need to be provided at the beginning of the season. The check will be returned when the equipment is returned. If equipment is not returned within 2 weeks of season end, the deposit check will be cashed.
