Crown City Little League

Become An Umpire

Crown City Little League has paid umpiring opportunities for adults and kids who have aged out of Little League. Training sessions will be available throughout the season.

As an umpire, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, such as decision-making and conflict resolution, as well as improve upon your knowledge of the rules of the game. These skills will not only be useful on the field but can also be applied in other areas of your life.

Additionally, being an umpire is a great way to stay active and engage with the community. You will have the chance to be outside, meet new people, and make a positive impact on the lives of young athletes.

So, if you are 14 years old or older and are looking for a fun and rewarding way to earn some extra money, consider becoming a little league umpire. Not only will you be able to make a difference in your community, but you will also have the opportunity to learn and grow as an individual.

Note to umpires 16 years old and younger:  You must obtain working papers from the Cortland High School - Guidance Office. You will need to bring the card that you were issued to the Cortland Youth Bureau.
