2024-2025 Highlights

Fargo 2025 – U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals (Girls Divisions)

Held in Fargo, North Dakota, the 2025 Junior Nationals featured both 16U and Junior girls divisions in women’s freestyle. The event shattered participation records with 1,216 entries in Junior Girls and 1,029 entries in 16U Girls—an unprecedented scale for these divisions.

The Keystone State keeps raising the bar when it comes to the state’s women’s program. In taking home both women’s team titles for the first time, Pennsylvania set new records in total medals, 16U medals and Junior medals. The 13 16U medals eclipses the previous record of 11 set last year, while the nine on the Junior side beats the previous record of eight, which came in 2010 and 2024. Four of the nine Junior All-Americans won titles – Jaclyn Bouzakis (100), Emma Bacon (125), Violette Lasure (145), and Jael Miller (170). by Jason Bryant, special to TheMat.com

Thank you to PA Power Wrestling for live streaming and for the amazing Skylar Grote & Jodie Horger who handled making sure we had amazing commentary!

Thank you to Emma Randall, Kendall Cross, Columbia University Women’s Wrestling, and the NYCRTC for being amazing hosts! The wrestling community and their support are simply irreplaceable.

Thank you to Spartan Combat for making sure both teams looked absolutely spectacular! The gear was beyond anything we could’ve dreamed of - Nick Garone always taking care of us!⁣

And finally, a special “thank you” to Mike Khoury and Madd Hatter Hoboken for providing all of the food for the athletes and families after the match.

Our teams are currently sailing around New York City - for some, it’s their first time visiting the Big Apple. New friendships were built today and we’re very lucky to have such a beautiful day to spend together.

2024 Women's National Duals Championships

Junior National Duals Championships

TULSA, Okla. – A powerful five-pin effort in the championship dual meet catapulted No. 1 overall seed Pennsylvania Blue to the women’s freestyle title at the 2024 Air Force Special Warfare Junior National Duals. The Keystone State squad upended No. 2 seed Missouri Blue, 38-31, in the finals.

16U National Duals Championships

WESTFIELD, Indiana – With this being the inaugural year of the 16U Girls National Freestyle Duals, somebody had to emerge as the first team champion in history.

No. 1 seed Pennsylvania Blue, led by a balanced and talented lineup, stepped up in a big way, defeating Wisconsin 48-25 in the championship dual. Both teams had a number of girls who are in the National Girls High School rankings, but the depth of the Keystone State lineup proved too much to handle.

Pennsylvania Blue also won the Greco-Roman team title at 16U Women’s National Duals.

14U National Duals Championships

WESTFIELD, Indiana – The dual meet between Pennsylvania Blue and Illinois for the 14U Girls National Freestyle Duals team title started off like it was going to be a very competitive battle. However, Pennsylvania Blue went on a winning streak, and a pinning streak, that could not be stopped, and ended up dominating Illinois by a 58-18 final score.

Pennsylvania Blue secured their second-straight Greco-Roman title at 14U Women’s National Duals as well!
