2025 spring season registration fees

• 1. Little League ages 13 through 16 (born between 9.1.08 and 8.31.12)–Juniors and Senior divisions–$550
  2. Little League ages 10 through 12 (born between 9.1.12 and 8.31.15)–Majors and PCL divisions–$400
  3. Little League ages 5 through 9 (born between 9.1.15 and 8.31.20)–AAA, AA, Coach Pitch, and T-Ball divisions–$300
  4. Pre-K and TK students aged 4 (born between 9.1.20 and 8.31.21) and 5-year-olds (born between 9.1.19 and 8.31.20) playing Wiffle Ball—Wiffle Ball division–$50
  5. Challenger division–no registration fees

1. 1. Registration opens: October 22, 2024
      1. All players must register through the Sports Connect platform
   2. Registration closes:
      1. 10- to 15-year-olds: January 23, 2025
         1. 9-year-olds who wish to be considered for PCL must register by this date
      2. 4- to 9-year-olds: February 13, 2025
      3. Challenger: TBD
   3. Standard registration fees:
      1. Little League ages 13 through 16 (born between 9.1.08 and 8.31.12)–Juniors and Senior divisions–$550
      2. Little League ages 10 through 12 (born between 9.1.12 and 8.31.15)–Majors and PCL divisions–$400
      3. Little League ages 5 through 9 (born between 9.1.15 and 8.31.20)–AAA, AA, Coach Pitch, and T-Ball divisions–$300

   4. If space permits and late registrations are allowed, there is a $100 late fee assessment required at registration.
      
      
   5. An Early Bird discount of $50 off registration fees is in effect until December 31, 2024. Early Bird registration fees:
      1. Ages 13 through 15 (born between 9.1.08 and 8.31.11)–$500
      2. Ages 10 through 12 (born between 9.1.11 and 8.31.14)–$350
      3. Ages 5 through 9 (born between 9.1.14 and 8.31.19)–$250
      4. There is no discount for Wiffle Ball
   6. Players must live in or attend school in Palo Alto or Stanford; verify eligibility here
      
      
   7. Player’s assignment to a division is based on the criteria that are found here:
      • 2025 Little League age (player’s age as of  August 31, 2025); see Little League age chart
      • Grade
      • Skill level
      • Baseball experience
   8. All Juniors and Seniors must attend an evaluation session.
      1. Evaluation dates: January 30-31, 2025, at El Camino Park
   9. All 10-, 11-, and 12-year-olds must attend a mandatory evaluation session. Any 9-year-old who wishes to be considered for PCL must register by Jan 23, 2025, and attend evaluations. Evaluations assist league officials, managers, and coaches in placing players in the appropriate divisions.
      1. Evaluation dates: January 25-26, 2025, at Middlefield Ballpark
      2. Players who do not attend evaluations are not eligible to play in the Majors division.
   10. Majors and PCL are draft leagues; players are drafted by team managers.Teammate requests are not considered in forming Majors, PCL, and Juniors teams.
       1. Teams are formed in early February, after evaluations are completed.
   11. AAA, AA (Machine Pitch), Coach Pitch, and T-Ball teams are formed by the division player agents. Teams are primarily age/grade-,  school-, and friend-based.
       1. Teammate requests are not considered for players who wish to “play up” above their age/grade level.
       2. Teams are formed in early February.
   12. Generally, there is one weekday and one Saturday game scheduled for every team, every week, starting in March.

       • Jan. 28-29, 2025: Mandatory Majors and PCL evaluations
       • Jan. 30-31, 2025: Mandatory Juniors and Seniors evaluations
       • Feb. 3: Seniors, Juniors, and Majors practices start
       • Feb. 10: PCL practices start
       • Feb. 13: Registration closes for all other divisions 
       • March 3: League play begins for Majors and PCL
       • March 3: Practices start for all other divisions
       • March 17: League play begins for all other divisions
       • May 10: Regular season play ends for Majors and PCL
       • May 12-23: City Champion and PCL tournaments
       • May 18: Wiffle Ball season ends
       • May 23: Seasons end for AAA, AA, Coach Pitch, and T-Ball divisions
