Dear Stafford Little League Families and Volunteers,
We are officially kicking off the process for the Annual Stafford Little League Board of Directors Elections, as announced at our board meeting on November 5, 2025.
We strongly encourage eligible members of the community to consider joining the Board and contributing to the success of our league.
1. Nominations for the Board of Directors
We are currently accepting nominations for all positions on the Stafford Little League Board of Directors.
How to Nominate: Please email your notification of interest, specifying the position(s) you are interested in, to our League Secretary, Heather Galotto, at: [email protected] with our league president, copied Rich Smith, at [email protected].
Nomination Deadline: The nomination period will expire promptly on Tuesday, November 28th, 2025, at 5:00 PM. No nominations will be accepted after this deadline.
2. Voting Eligibility
A vote for any position with two or more nominations will be held, and the new board will be formally installed shortly thereafter.
Who is Eligible to Vote? Only active members of the League who have met strict Little League International compliance requirements for the 2025 season are eligible to cast a ballot.
Eligible voters include:
- Previous Board Members
- Coaches
- Assistant Coaches
- Registered Volunteers
Mandatory Requirements: To be eligible, you must have successfully completed the following requirements for the 2025 season:
- Background Check
- Volunteer Paperwork
- Abuse Awareness Training
3. Voting Details
The vote will occur on Wednesday, December 16th, 2025.
More detailed information regarding the time and location of the voting will be forthcoming to eligible members.

EXECUTIVE BOARD & CORE OPERATIONS
| Role | Key Responsibilities |

| President | Assumes full responsibility for league operations, presides over meetings, and serves as the primary contact and official liaison with Little League International (LLI). |
| Vice President (Baseball/Softball) | (2 Positions) Presides in the absence of the President and supports the Board by acting as an ex-officio member of all committees and fulfilling duties delegated by the President. |
| Secretary | Responsible for official league records, including maintaining the membership register, recording meeting minutes, and sending out official notices. |
| Treasurer | Manages all local league finances, prepares budgets, reports on the status of funds, and maintains comprehensive financial records. |
| Player Agent | Manages annual player tryouts and the selection process. This role also assists the President in verifying player eligibility and supervising player movement between divisions. |
| Safety Officer | Coordinates all league safety activities, ensures safe playing conditions, manages injury reporting/prevention, and prepares the league’s official ASAP safety plan for LLI. |
| Umpire-in-Chief (U.I.C.) | Leads the league's umpire program, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating volunteer umpires, ensuring compliance with LLI guidelines. |
SUPPORT & STRATEGIC ROLES

| League Information Officer (LIO) | Manages the official league website, online registration, electronic rosters, and ensures timely distribution of league news, scores, and important information to members and LLI. |
| Coaching Coordinator (Baseball/Softball) | (2 Positions) Develops and implements the league-wide manager and coach training program. This includes ordering materials, coordinating clinics, and acting as the primary LLI coaching education contact. |
| Sponsor/Fundraising Manager | Solicits and secures local business sponsorships and organizes and implements all approved league fundraising activities to support operations. |
| Marketing/Public Relations Manager | Focuses on player recruitment and retention, develops league marketing plans, and works with local media to promote the league year-round within the community. |
| Concession Manager | Oversees the daily operation of concession facilities, including purchasing products, managing sales, scheduling volunteers, and maintaining financial records for concession activities. |
| Equipment Manager | Responsible for managing the equipment room, organizing the purchase of new essential safety equipment, balls, and coordinating uniform purchasing. |
