When is registration?
Open registration begins mid-March. Once the season begins, registration depends on the availability on teams for your child's division. We try our best to make sure all perspective players have the chance to participate in our program.
How much is the registration fee?
Registration fee for the outdoor 2025 season varies from $150-$200.
Why are you charging a late-fee for registrations now?
Charging a late registration fee helps us manage our programs more efficiently. When families register late, it can cause challenges like scheduling conflicts. By encouraging on-time registration, we can ensure a smoother experience for all participants, better organization, and optimal resources for every child. The late fee is meant to cover the additional administrative costs that arise from last-minute changes.
How long is the season?
Outdoor seasons are from May till September. Indoor season is from October till April.
Where are games played?
Indoor season games are played at the Lake County Sports Center. Outdoor season games are played at the Waukegan Sports Center.
When and where will my child practice?
Practice days and times are set by the coach. Please contact your child's coach for more details.
What equipment does my child need?
Players are required to have soccer cleats, shin guards, and a soccer ball of appropriate size for their age group. Uniforms will be provided by the league and must be worn during games.
How are game schedules determined?
Game schedules are created by league organizers and communicated to teams prior to the start of the season. We make every effort to accommodate scheduling requests and minimize conflicts.
Can I request a specific team for my child to play with?
Although we do allow team requests, we can not honor all requests. We only allow teams to have a maximum of 16 players. This guarantees all players play the required playing time.
Why is there a $3 entry fee during the indoor season?
The entry fee helps cover various expenses like equipment and referees, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all players. We strive to keep costs reasonable while maintaining quality standards. Our goal is to make soccer accessible to all interested participants while ensuring a high-quality program.
Why do I have to present age verification documents every time I register my child?
Birth certificates, government-issued IDs, or passports are required at registration to verify age and ensure players are placed in the correct age group. For your security, our online registration system automatically deletes all sensitive documents every six months.
