Eastern Region Volunteer of the Year!

The volunteer of the year award is awarded each year to one female and one male volunteer in recognition to their service and special contributions to Pop Warner Football. 
The criteria and procedure for selection of the volunteers of the year are as follows:
(a) No current RD, VRD, RSC or RCDC is eligible to receive the award;

(b) Petitions for nomination of an individual for volunteer of the year must be in writing and not more than two typewritten, double spaced pages;

(c) In describing the nominee’s year of service, the contributions of such individual to Pop Warner Football as well as other community, civic or charitable organizations and activities should be enumerated in the petition for nomination;

(d) All petitions for nomination must be received by the RD responsible for that region prior to or at the regional meeting; and

(e) Each region will select one male and one female from the nominations received to represent that region as volunteer of the year. The vote taken at the regional meeting will be by delegate vote only. The RD’s shall promptly forward the names of those representing each region to the National Office. All Volunteers of the Year will be recognized on the PW website.
