2026-27 VEX IQ Robotics Season (Competitive - 2 Step Process)

Registration Description (STEP 1)

Thank you for your interest in joining The Mind Spark Competitive Robotics Program for the 2026–2027 season.
This registration is for student evaluations and team placement consideration only. Submission of this form does not guarantee placement on a team.

Our coaching staff carefully evaluates students based on:
  • Commitment and attendance
  • Teamwork and communication
  • Technical and problem-solving skills
  • Competitive readiness
  • Team balance and availability

Due to the competitive nature of the program, roster spots are limited.

Parent Involvement
Parent Head Coach/Assistant Coach
  • Each competitive team requires a dedicated parent coach or team manager to help support team operations throughout the season.
  • No prior robotics experience is required. The Mind Spark provides training, coaching playbooks, mentorship, and ongoing support for all parent coaches.
  • What matters most is enthusiasm, reliability, positive leadership, and a willingness to help students succeed in a competitive team environment.
  • Parent involvement is an important part of our program. Families may also be asked to support teams through mentoring, event volunteering, logistics, fundraising, or organizational assistance.

Selected participants will receive an official invitation email with instructions to return for Step 2 registration, where families can formally accept team placement and complete season payment.
