Girls high school flag football is on the rise!!  As of today, 15 states have officially sanctioned girls flag football as a high school varsity sport,  with states like Florida, California and New York leading the way, proving that flag football is here to stay. Schools across the country are recognizing the value of flag football as an official high school sport, paving the way for more girls to compete, earn college scholarships, and make history on the field. Venice High School announced the Lady Indians Flag Football team for the  in the 25/26 school year!

Although we are a Co Ed league, girls have the option of joining an "all girls" team to compete during the regular winter or spring seasons and to prepare them if they choose to participate in the Females in Flag NFL Tournaments throughout the year. All girl teams will be created per division upon request only.  All Girl teams will compete against other Co Ed teams within their division.  As we grow, we hope to introduce a separate All Girls League in the coming seasons. If your athlete would like to have the option of competing on an all girls team, upon registration please select your division, and check YES to the question "Are you interested in joining an All Girls team in your division if available?" If there is not an All Girls team in your division, your athlete will automatically be placed on a Co Ed team.

All Girl teams have the option of traveling to NFL Tournaments and competing in the All Girls division! For more info regarding tournaments please email Coach Jason.
