HELLO VOLUNTEER,
THIS IS WHERE YOU WILL FIND INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DO THE REQUIRED ONLINE TRAININGS AND HOW TO UPLOAD THEM TO YOUR ACCOUNT.
Training #1. Mandatory (MUST BE DONE YEARLY) for all Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Moms & Board Members:
NEW Training platform via Little League International for player safety and abuse awareness-
1. Go to Abuse Awareness Training Course - Little League
2. Scroll down midway and click "create an account" (if new), or log in, if you already have an account on the training portal.
3. Fill out all the info on the page. In the "Find your league" section, start typing "lawndale". You will see "LAWNDALE LL (Garden Grove, Ca)" pop up. Choose that league and click "Submit Form".
**Side note to clear up any confusion, the city is Garden Grove because that is where our league president George receives his mail**
4. Go to your emails and check for the instructions to complete the Abuse Awareness Training.
5. Save your certificate once done with the training.
Training #2. Mandatory (ONLY NEEDS TO BE DONE ONCE PER COACHING CAREER) for all Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches:
*Concussion certificates from past 10 years are OK to clear this requirement*
For Concussion training or to retrieve your past training certificate through the CDC, go direct to: Login - CDC TRAIN - an affiliate of the TRAIN Learning Network powered by the Public Health Foundation
If you don't have an account, create one.
ONCE LOGGED IN, COPY AND PASTE THIS EXACT TITLE TO THE SEARCH--->> HEADS UP to Youth Sports: Online Training for Coaches
It cannot be for "Trainers" . "Sports Officials", or any other position. IT MUST BE FOR YOUTH SPORTS COACHES.
**Don't forget to download your certificate so that you can log back into your account on our website and upload them**
3."Recommended only" (Not mandatory) for all Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches:

If you don't have an account, create one. Then go to Diamond Leader training course.
*The Diamond leader course will only be mandatory for coaches selected to participate in Tournament or All-Star play toward the end of the season for Minors AAA or higher*
NEXT AND FINAL STEPS:
After you have saved your training certificates onto your device, please log back into your
lawndalelittleleague.org account and upload them to your profile by clicking the small "pencil" icon next to your name. Please see the following guide:
