I agree to act in good faith and in any manner while attending any games that Lawndale Little League is a participant of. I am in charge of any guests that accompany me to any events.
Parent & Spectator Expectations:
Be a positive role model by demonstrating respect and good sportsmanship.
Encourage all players, regardless of skill level.
Refrain from negative comments toward players, coaches, or officials.
Do not enter the dugout area or playing field during games or practices unless you are a league-certified coach. Parents should engage their player’s coach, who will send the player out of the dugout if necessary. Any parent violating this rule will be subject to disciplinary review.
Furthermore, it is also agreed to help the league, the coaches and team mom where needed to keep the fields in good shape. This includes simple tasks like dragging the infield dirt after practices & games and clearing out the dugouts of any trash left behind.
Zero-Tolerance Policies:
Unsportsmanlike conduct, including verbal abuse, arguing with umpires, or disruptive behavior, will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the field or stands.
Cell phone use is not permitted in the dugout or on the field during games, unless it is for scorekeeping. Other children or minors that are not registered players shall not occupy the dugout. Alcohol should not be present at events. Violators will be subject to disciplinary review.
Only league-certified coaches are allowed in the dugout or on the field during games and practices. Parents who do not adhere to this rule will be subject to disciplinary review.
By participating in this league, all players, coaches, and parents agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the league.
