FC MoCo 1776

Developing Players. Building Confidence. Creating Opportunities.

FC MoCo 1776 is proud to serve families across Montgomery and Frederick County, providing a high-quality youth soccer experience centered on meaningful player development. Our mission is simple: to empower young athletes through a structured, professional program that builds technical ability, tactical understanding, and mental strength—all within a positive and supportive environment.

What sets FC MoCo 1776 apart is our commitment to year-round development. While many clubs limit training to Fall and Spring seasons, we believe consistent growth requires consistency in opportunity. That’s why we offer a full Winter season that includes both training and competitive play. This continuity gives our players a distinct advantage, helping them improve faster and perform with greater confidence throughout the year.

Our club was originally founded as a semi-professional men’s team competing in the UPSL Premier Division, rooted in the northern Montgomery County and lower Frederick County communities. In the winter of 2023, we expanded into youth development, and since then, FC MoCo 1776 has grown into a thriving organization with six teams ranging from U11 to U16, serving nearly 100 local players.

Additionally,  we provide a direct pathway from youth soccer to the semi-professional level. Currently, we have two U16 players competing with our Semi-Pro developmental team, giving younger athletes a clear vision of what is possible within our club. Our goal is to continue developing players through every stage of their journey and provide opportunities for them to eventually compete for our UPSL Semi-Pro team.

Our teams compete at a high level across respected leagues and tournaments, including the EDP League, MSYSA State Cup, MDSL, EDP College Showcases, Baltimore Mania, Potomac Memorial Day Tournament, Mid-Atlantic Cup, and other top regional competitions. These experiences provide our players with valuable exposure and opportunities to test themselves against strong competition.

At the core of our program is a dedicated coaching staff. Every FC MoCo 1776 coach holds a recognized U.S. Soccer license—ranging from Grassroots to D and C licenses—ensuring that players receive knowledgeable, structured, and age-appropriate training.

We are equally committed to accessibility. Our pricing is among the most competitive in the region, offering exceptional value without compromising quality. We also offer flexible payment plans and scholarships because we believe every child deserves the opportunity to play and grow through soccer.

Training sessions are held locally in the Ballenger Creek area, with home matches beginning in 2026 at Tuscarora High School Stadium—giving our players a true home-field experience in the heart of the community.

At FC MoCo 1776, we focus on the details that make a difference. Inspired by experienced coaches who understand the game at every level, we help players refine their skills, build confidence, and reach their full potential—both on and off the field.
