North Valley Hockey and Sports Complex (NVHSC) is an inline hockey league located in Hamilton City, California (just minutes from Chico). Established in 2003, we are a 501 (c)3 non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to teaching the sport of inline hockey to youth (co-ed) ages 6 to 18. NVHSC has nearly 200 youth participants forming 16 in-house and 6 travel teams. Additionally, we offer an adult inline roller hockey league through a partnership with Hamilton City Hockey Club with an A, B and C league covering beginners to advanced players (men and women) of all ages. Our facility is home to Chico State University's Wildcats inline roller hockey club hosting collegiate hockey tournaments. We see this sport as a healthy alternative for those youth or adults of Chico and surrounding communities who are not drawn to the traditional athletic opportunities of this area.
Our premier hockey facility consists of a 177' x 85' skating surface with sportcourt flooring, hockey boards and glass, (2) 80" high definition screens as our scoreboard, bleachers, and (4) locker rooms. The facility is an open span facility with approximately 23,000 sq ft and a rink surface of ~ 15,000 sq ft which can be used for multiple uses such as open skating, lacrosse, basketball, soccer, volleyball, roller derby, and private parties.
