OLL families:
The evaluations for players seeking to move to either the AAA or majors divisions of the OLL will be held on Sunday, March 7th at The Strike Zone, 10 Mann Street in Worcester.  Subject to the below, the timeframe for the evaluations will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
If the player is looking to play in AAA this season and did not play in AAA previously (fall baseball does not qualify as having played in AAA), the player must attend evaluations.

If the player is looking to play in majors this season and did not play in majors previously (fall baseball does not qualify as having played in majors), the player must attend evaluations.

For obvious reasons, evaluations will look different this year.

PLEASE NOTE that, depending on the number of players participating in evaluations, players EITHER will be evaluated for the entire two hour window or will be assigned a window of one hour (either 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.).

ALL players who will be attending evaluations must preregister in advance by emailing [email protected] by March 1, 2021.  Please include in the subject line "OLL Evaluations" and in the body of the email provide the player's name, month/year of birth and a telephone number for the player's parent or guardian.
Once we have the preregistrations completed, we will announce separately whether the players should plan to attend for one hour or two hours on March 7th.
While we normally encourage players who are returning to a division to attend evaluations, this year only those players who wish to move to the AAA or majors divisions for the first time should attend.
For those attending evaluations:
1.    Parents and guardians WILL NOT be permitted to be inside the facility during the evaluations so that we can limit the number of people present inside.  There is a parking lot across the street where parents and guardians can wait until the evaluations are completed.  Following evaluations, the players will be brought outside so that parents and guardians can collect them.
2.    Players should wear sneakers or turf shoes.  NO cleats!
3.    Please bring your own glove, bat and helmet.  Since there will be no sharing of equipment, if you do not have any of those items, please let the OLL know in your registration email so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
4.    Players must wear masks.
5.    Upon entry to the facility, players will be checked in and will be subject to a temperature check with a forehead thermometer.  If the player has a fever, he or she will not be permitted to attend the evaluations.  If the player feels ill, he or she should not attend the evaluations.  If a member of the player's household or the player is subject to quarantine requirements (including a person who is waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test), the player should not attend the evaluations.  In those instances, the OLL will work with the player's family for alternative arrangements.
