Last night the Oxford Little League and the Oxford community lost a member of its family with the passing of Fran Horgan.

Fran and his family set the standard of what volunteers should do for any youth sports program. He was also a mentor to many Oxford LL board members, past and present. Not only was he an honorary board member of the Oxford LL but also the Auburn LL program. He will always be remembered for his years of dedication to Little League. Almost every member of our program started with him at 4YO T-Ball.

They say the true value of life is measured in the impact on those left behind. To look throughout the OLL rosters and board members both past and present, confirms what we already knew. The world has lost a great man.
