How do the Try-outs for Arizona FC work?
There is no charge for youth soccer players to try-out for Arizona FC club soccer teams. Tryouts are set by appointment only. Try-outs are held in May or periodically throughout the season as players are needed . Players will need to be dressed in proper soccer attire including shin guards, cleats and socks to cover shin guards. They will also need the proper size ball for there age group and enough water to keep hydrated. Try-outs are conducted
outside of team practices and are judged on players skill level as well as player interaction and motivation. Players may be asked to try out for more then one team to find the player the correct fit. Younger players may be asked to join the academy team until the proper team can be assigned. Tryouts are conducted at Asante Park in Surprise, Arizona or VeraMonte Park in Surprise, AZ.
What is the next step once my player is excepted?
If your player is accepted after the try-out you will be invited to register your player on the Arizona FC website or in paper form. This will include the registration fee, uniform fee and the monthly fee. You will have options to pay the monthly fee all at once, in 2 installments, or as a monthly auto draft. Players who try out and are accepted are required to register within one week or they will no longer be allowed to practice with the team until this step is completed.
