The purpose of West Augusta Baseball and Softball League shall be to govern, organize, promote, and develop the baseball and softball programs for youth in the areas of West Augusta County, Virginia, for the physical and moral welfare of the participants therein, and;  Develop participant’s interest in baseball and softball, and to enable them to gain experience and knowledge of the game under the supervision of adult instructors, and;·      

~ Encourage each youth to develop as a student-athlete, and;·        
~ Emphasize and promote sportsmanship among all participants in the West Augusta Baseball and Softball League.
