When do you play? 
Our season begins April and goes until mid June.

How long is the season? Are there playoffs?
The regular season runs April-June with the possibility of playoffs.

Where do you play?
We are in the middle of a field move this year so location TBD.

What kind of time commitment does flag football require?
Practices are usually 1-2 days a week and games 1 time a week. Schedule subject to change. Practices and games usually last about an hour, depending on the age group and coach.

What are the divisions and teams?
Ages 5-6 are basic fundamentals. Ages 7-8 are instructional. Ages 9-14 its game on! A child’s team placement will be determined by their age. Placement is subject to change and is at the discretion of the executive board. Team mate requests are accept but are not guaranteed. 

Is this a co-ed league?
Yes. Flag football is open to girls and boys.

When do we register, and how much does it cost?
Registration runs from Jan until it fills up. The cost is $175.00 with a sibling discount of $10.00. With registration your child with receive a NFL reversible jersey, shorts, mouth guard, insurance and an award. Cleats and supportive cup are optional but recommended.

Requirements: 
Each family is required to complete 1 hour in the concession stand throughout the season. With being the largest flag program in WNY it takes a army to ensure our program runs safely and smooth. The kids love to see their parents getting involved! If you are a coach or assistant coach, your volunteer hours will be waived. Sign ups opportunities will be sent out before the first game.

What is your league’s refund policy?
It is the policy of the WJF that a $25 nonrefundable registration fee is charged once a participant has been registered.  Once registration is closed, there will be no refunds issued. 

I’d like to coach. How do I volunteer?
We welcome coaches, and if you don’t have experience, we’ll support you, and give you the tools you need.
