What programs do you offer?

(coed) House League: Our house league is exactly the same as it has always been! WJF will draft teams based off experience of athletes and positions needed in order to try to create as even level teams as possible. We have games and play offs, However this is meant to be more instructional, easy going and fair.
(coed)Competitive League: GAME ON!! You bring your own team!! Get the best of the best or your best friends and form a team to enter into the league. Structure will be fairly similar to our house league however it will be much more competitive, we will keep stats, and have a full play off bracket/championship game with RINGS for the winners! If you do not have enough for a full team we can find athletes for you or add you to another team that is not full

When do you play? 
Our season begins April and goes until mid June. Game schedule is shared on registration minus times. All games are played between 9-6PM.

How long is the season? Are there playoffs?
The regular season runs April-June with the possibility of playoffs.

What kind of time commitment does flag football require?
Practices are usually 1-2 days a week and games 1 time a week. Schedule subject to change. Practices and games usually last about an hour, depending on the age group and coach.

What are the divisions and teams?
Ages 4-5 are basic fundamentals. Ages 6-7 are instructional. Ages 8-17 its game on!

Is this a co-ed league?
Yes. Flag football is open to girls and boys.

When do we register, and how much does it cost?
Registration runs from November until it fills up.
House is $175.00 with $15.00 Sibling discounts until January 1st. After that the price goes up $10.00 every month until we close. This includes Reversible Jersey, shorts, flags and insurance.
Comp league is $250.00 with a $15.00 sibling. This includes Trophies, Championship rings, Reversible Jersey, Shorts, Flags and Insurance.

Requirements: 
Each family is required to complete 1 hour in the concession stand throughout the season. With being the largest flag program in WNY it takes a army to ensure our program runs safely and smooth. The kids love to see their parents getting involved! If you are a coach or assistant coach, your volunteer hours will be waived. Sign ups opportunities will be sent out before the first game.

What is your league’s refund policy?
It is the policy of the WJF that a $25 nonrefundable registration fee is charged once a participant has been registered.  Once registration is closed, there will be no refunds issued. 

I’d like to coach. How do I volunteer?
We welcome coaches, and if you don’t have experience, we’ll support you, and give you the tools you need.
