Announcing the 2020-21 Emerging Coach Program Coaches!
Four high school girl Rush WI athletes have been selected to be the 2020-21 Emerging Coach Program Coaches!
Audrey Deppen, Cassiah James, Hannah Filandrinos and Maren Kalberer applied to the program earlier this fall, participated in interviews with Rush Wisconsin Staff, and were selected to participate in the 6 month coaching leadership program.
The Emerging Coach Program Coaches will attend
the
WWSAC Symposium
and US Soccer Federation
Grassroots Coaching Course
,
be assigned a mentor from within Rush WI, serve as an a
pprentice coach with Rush WI teams, and have n
etworking opportunities throughout their time in the program.
"We are in the third year of the program, and each year it gets better and better. We were so impressed with the candidates who applied and interviewed this year. They all presented themselves with great poise and were able to articulate their goals of what they wanted to get out of this program to start their coaching pathway, and we can't wait to get started." Jess Nash, Director of Coaching - Youth Academy, commented.
