Rush Wisconsin offers a unique opportunity to players in the Dane County Area with its newly constructed Youth Development Academy Program.
The most important distinction of our program, in comparison to other program offerings in the area, is the appointment of our top professional coaches to all training sessions in the Academy. The program is led by Benny Delgado, Youth Development Academy Coordinator. Trainings are also twice per week, with games, tournaments and festivals throughout the fall and spring season.
This program is open to all participants and is based on registering for the program. Mock tryouts are conducted at these age groups to help players prepare for the competitive pathway.
The Youth Academy program focuses on developing the soccer skills of players who have demonstrated a strong interest and enjoyment of the game. We draw many players from more recreational programs because they are looking for a more challenging soccer environment. Yet, for others, the pure joy of the game brings them to our program.
The purpose of the Rush Youth Academy program is to prepare players to be successful competitive players as they move through our program and graduate to the Senior Competitive program. The Youth Development Academy program focuses on the following key areas:
The Youth Academy program is divided into 4 age group categories:
- U7 Boys and Girls
- U8 Boys and Girls
- U9 Boys and Girls
- U10 Boys and Girls
League Play
The MAYSA Classic League will provide a good competitive base of games for this team. The teams will play in the U9 or U10 age group. Games will be more local with games not exceeding a 40-50 mile radius of Madison. There are 8 games in a season with half the games played on our home field complex at Hwy. Q or in the Middleton area.
