In Loving Memory of Simon Bileessi

Dear Rush Families:

I am sure you join me in the feeling of devastation and sadness at the recent news of Simon Bileessi's passing. He lost his life in a car accident on Saturday night along with 2 other Middleton High School Boys. Simon played on the Rush Wisconsin 2004 Midwest Regional League team and was beloved by everyone that had the privilege to know him. His big smile, the passion, energy, creativity and uncompromising joy for the game of soccer and life, blessed all who had the good fortune to be part of his ecosphere. His ability to be so present in the moment and to be so grateful for everything and everyone was inspiring. He will be dearly missed.Even as we all deal with the tragic news of his departure, I would like to take this opportunity to reach out to all those that knew him to share our intentions as a club:
We are part of your family and if you need our support in this difficult time, please just say the word and we are here for you. We want to find ways to honor and celebrate Simon’s life and legacy.
