Emerging Coaches Learn from Women Badgers

Rush WI Emerging Coach Program candidates had the opportunity to watch a Badger Women's soccer session at UW-Madison McClain center.
Kelsey Selden and Annika Hallquist joined Director of Youth Coaching, Jess Nash, to watch Coaches Paula Wilkins, Tim Rosenfeld and Marisa Kresge in action with the Badger Women's soccer team.
UW-Madison Coaches were gracious in answering all questions regarding their session planning, implementation, and season prioritization.
This event was the first event to kick off the mentorship portion of the Emerging Coach Program. Candidates will be working with Rush coaches over the winter to observe Rush sessions, assist in some sessions and finally, coach a session. They are headed to the WWSAC Symposium in Milwaukee to learn from Former USWNT coach, Jill Ellis amongst other presenters.
