Brandon Ricker

Brandon serves as the Technical Director for the club and has been with the club since it's inaugural season. A former ODU, Development Academy and ODP Regional forward, Brandon currently holds his USSF National Youth, USSF National C, NSCAA DOC, NSCAA GK LVL 3 Certification, NSCAA Special Topics Attacking Principles diploma, NFHS/NSCAA Professional Development Certificate, Attacking Transition and Counter Attacks Diploma and Technical Development of the Competitive Player Diploma.

Jimmy McCabe

Jimmy has a myriad of coaching experiences in the Hampton Roads area. Jimmy began his playing career with Chesapeake United and later became a coach. His 14 years in Chesapeake was a shining light for the club as he produced many talented players who moved on to have successful careers. Most recently, he was involved with FC United as the U9 and U13 boys Coach. Jimmy has been a part of the Virginia Beach City FC Summer Youth Academy and has served as an ODP District Staff Coach for 8 years. He is currently the Head Coach of the Indian River High School Varsity Girls. Jimmy holds a D License. Known for his calm and steady demeanor, he allows players the freedom to express themselves while also providing a demanding environment that produces results.

Jason Smith

Jason has a rich coaching history within the Norfolk area. Prior to joining Virginia Beach City FC, Jason worked for many years with the Norfolk Strikers. Full bio coming soon...

Charles Dutton

Charles is a quality coach to have involved with our younger girls program. He has coached with Chesapeake United from 2012-2015 as well as with FC United in 2015-2016. Charles playing experience includes King's Park Soccer Club in New York, and Northport High School Varsity. Charles holds his USSF F and E License and will be starting the process to achieve the D License. We are excited to have a guy like Charles on the staff to assist as he is truly dedicated to the betterment of the players and his own development as a coac
