It is the philosophy of the coaching staff at Five1 Athletics to provide consistent feedback and coaching to all athletes regardless of team. Coaches work together to provide consistent feedback and teaching so that when a 10U athlete learns and practices a skill, they are practicing and being coached in the same manner that our 18U athletes have learned and are practicing.
Coach Eric Lazowski is the Director of Volleyball and provides the structure for all of our coaches to follow. Fundamental skills are taught and practiced in game-like situations, and are coached within the context of the game. Athletes practice and compete with and against each other, and are mixed between age groups during each time block. This allows our athletes to benefit from the insight and experience from EVERY coach who happens to be present during that practice session.
We believe our unique practice environment is a distinct differentiator and our coaching staff is second to none.
Coaching staff listed below is TENTATIVE for the 2020-2021 season and is subject to change without notice.
