  A native of Istanbul, Turkey, Coach Louie holds numerous soccer licenses including the highest licenses in many organizations: USSF A License, NSCAA Premier Diploma, and UEFA "A" License. Coach Louie also was an assistant coach with the University of West Florida women's soccer team, where they win the 2012 Division II National Championship and 2013 Division II National Finalist.

Coach Jeff Klug has been with WFSC since 2009. He holds a B.A. in History from Louisiana State University and M.S. in Physical Education from the University of West Florida. He has also attained many soccer coaching licenses, including but not limited to a NSCAA Premier Diploma, USSF National A License, and NSCAA Goalkeeping Diploma Level 3.

MARY MANCIN


 Mary Mancin is in her first year with West Florida Soccer Club. She has nearly a decade of experience coaching collegiately. She currently assists the UWF program after previously coaching at VMI, Southeastern Louisiana, UT Martin, Belmont, and Columbus State. After her All-American career as a goalkeeper at Columbus State University, Mancin continued playing at the semi-professional level. She is in her first year as both the head coach of the girls’ soccer team, and as a Physical Education teacher at Milton High. She has earned both a B.S. and M.S. in Exercise Science from Columbus State University. She is a native of Gainesville, GA.

MATT CROW




Matt Crow holds the USSF C License as well as the USSF D, USSF 11v11, USSF 9v9,  USSF 7v7 Grassroots Licenses, and the United Soccer Coaches Get aHEAD Safely in Soccer Diploma. He started coaching in the WFSC recreation program in 2011 and transitioned into the competitive program in 2017-18. He played club soccer for more than a decade while growing up in New Jersey, Northern Illinois, and Western Pennsylvania and high school soccer for four years near Pittsburgh, PA. A professor at the University of West Florida, Coach Matt enjoys the education, competition, team-building, and player-development that WFSC provides in a family-friendly and supportive atmosphere.

KATELYN BURKHART

Coach Katelyn is 23 years old and grew up here in Pace, FL, and she first started playing soccer when she was 5 years old in the recreation program when it was previously know as The Futbol Club of Santa Rosa (FCSR), now known as West Florida Soccer Club. She played in the recreation program until she was 11 years old before she finally moved up to the Select Program. She was a part of the FCSR Revolution team from age 11 all the way up until she graduated from Pace High School where she also played for 4 years. At PHS she won the Pensacola News Journal Player of the Year in 2014. After high school,  I was able to earn a soccer scholarship to the University of West Florida. In those short 4 years at UWF, she became a Division 2 All American, and was the team captain her senior year. Her team throughout those years won the Gulf South Conference Title in 2016, the entire South Region in 2016 & 2017, and made it to all the way to the Elite 8 Bracket in 2016 & 2017 in our hunt for the National Championship. And last but certainly not least, in 2017 she graduated from UWF with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science.

TAYLOR BURKHART

Coach Taylor Burkhart is 23 years old, born and raised in the Pace/Pensacola area. Her soccer journey began when she was about 5 years old in the recreation program here at WFSC; formally know as Futbol Club of Santa Rosa (FCSR). She played recreation until she was 11 years old when she was fortunate enough to join the select program. She was apart of the FCSR Revolution team for her whole career and they became one of the best teams in the state of Florida and even the South East Region. This led her to play at Pace High School on the varsity team for 4 years winning the district title in 2010 and 2014 and made First Team All Area in 2014. After this career ended another door opened for her as she  got the opportunity to play at the University of West Florida. She was on athletic and academic scholarship during her time at UWF receiving Gulf South Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, and ADA Academic Achievement Award. She scored a total of 8 goals including a game winner at her time at UWF. In 2016 they won the GSC conference title as well as the South Region title and made their way into the Elite 8 National Tournament bracket. Last but not least after hanging up the collegiate soccer boots She graduated from the University of West Florida in May 2018 with a bachelors degree in Athletic Training.

NICK WILLIAMSON



Nick grew up in Pensacola and graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School. While attending there he played all four years baseball and football.  After high school he joined the Army and served his Country proudly for 6 six years and he is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has since settled in Pace, Florida and started volunteering as a coach  at WFSC in 2014 in the recreational league and after a few seasons he decided he wanted to challenge his 2 daughters and move them to the competitive soccer. Nick has been an assistant coach here since and enjoy devoting his time and efforts to not only building the skills of every kid in the WFSC both recreational and competitive but also shaping their character to be better on and off the field.

JUSTIN BAILEY

 
 

Justin Bailey holds the USSF 11v11 and 7v7 Grassroots Licenses and more than a decade of youth and adult soccer playing experience. He has experience coaching at the youth and adult levels. A graduate of Pine Forest High School, he has degrees in Criminal Justice and Management. Justin is a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as Security Forces Supervisor with assignments across the world, including Guam, South Korea, Italy, Turkey, UAE, and Afghanistan. He currently serves in the United States Air Force Reserves as Security Forces Flight Chief.

DAVID COOPER

        David W. Cooper, a Pensacola native, has seven years of soccer coaching experience. His competitive soccer journey began as player for the West Florida Hurricanes (Pensacola, FL.) During his high school years, David was captain of the Woodham High School Varsity team and was voted All Star Player for the North West Florida Area. While earning his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Florida, David continued playing in a college intramural team, a 6v6 League as well as on a local amateur team that traveled around the Gulf Coast. After college, David has continued to play recreationally in various leagues. 

David’s coaching philosophy is to create a fun environment that helps players develop skills to reach their highest potential both as individuals and as part of a team. He implements this philosophy in everyday training. David has previously held the title of Assistant Coach of the Woodham High School Girls Varsity Team and Assistant Coach of the Pensacola Football Club (PFC) U-16 Girls. After taking a hiatus to focus on career and family, David returned to coaching to West Florida Soccer Club’s (WFSC, formerly known as Santa Rosa Football Club) recreational league for four years and currently coaches the WFSC’s Competitive U-10 Boys Team.

Doug Sprague

     

A native of Gulf Breeze, FL, Doug has more than 20 years of combined playing and coaching experience. He competed in Lower, Middle, High School and Rec soccer as well as on the Florida Panhandle select team playing in international competitions.  He started coaching in the Gulf Breeze recreational program in 2012 and transitioned into the WFSC competitive program in 2018 shortly after he and his family moved to Pace, FL.
Coach Doug enjoys spending his time developing player’s abilities and the camaraderie 
among 
his fellow coaches. He holds a B.S. in Hospital Administration from the University of Alabama and a Master’s in Business Administration from UWF.

David Seevers






A fixture in the Panhandle, coaching community since 2005, Coach David Seevers has worked with players of all ages and abilities in an effort to improve the game of soccer in the community where he grew up. David holds licenses including the USSF National “D” and Youth and the Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA. David’s coaching experience includes stints as the head coach of the Pace High boys followed by serving as the head coach for the Pace High girls. Many of his players have gone on to excel at the collegiate level.
