What is your coaching philosophy?
I focus my attention on the player first, and then how do I build team cohesion over the course of the season. Player development is at the core of my coaching philosophy, which translated means, trying to get individual players to progress along their continuum in becoming a more proficient player. Each player is assessed within the five pillars.

Why is Rush special to you?
Rush is fundamentally about people, who come together through the sport of soccer to celebrate life. This is the most significant coaching association and collaboration that I have ever been associated with in my life. At our best, we are a community of people that challenge our members to apply the lessons learned on the pitch to make our immediate lives and the world a better place. It is purposefully grandiose in its ambition and objective. It brings people together from 40 different states in the USA and almost 40 different clubs around the world. Rush has become my extended family (players, parents, coaches) and I have met some of the best and most important people in my life through this club.
