Ashland Little League 1964 - 2024

In 2023, Fall Ball is back by popular demand in Ashland!  Ashland Little League is celebrating the end of its 59th season and is excited to provide the opportunity to participate in the Little League Baseball, Softball and Challenger program. We are excited to be offering Softball for the first time in several seasons.  We look forward to working with the kids and families in our community this fall. This page will serve as a guide to Parents during our 2023 registration as Fall Season begins.

Registration Dates:

Registration will begin June 5th and close on August 26th, 2023. In the closing days of registration, some divisions will start reaching capacity. We urge all to register early to avoid any possible division closures. Any registration after August 19th will be assessed a $15 late fee.

All children that reside within our boundaries or attend a qualifying school within our boundaries and who’s league age falls within the age requirements of our programs will be eligible to participate at Ashland Little League.  Players outside our boundaries may require a waiver to play. Please visit our League Boundaries page for more information regarding waivers and league boundaries.

Age Charts: Ashland LL will use the 2024 Little League age charts when placing children for the fall season.  This guides parents to sign up their child for the division that they will play in next spring.  The 2024 Age Charts have yet to be published by Little League.  Your child’s age is based on their age on August 31st, 2024 for Baseball and January 12024 for Softball.  The registration system will only allow them to sign up for divisions in which they are eligible, this typically occurs for the T-Ball and Coach Pitch Divisions.  If you do not see a division that you want your child to play in, please email Lance Royce, President

Why do I have to work concessions?

Without our wonderful community and team of volunteers, Ashland Little League would not be possible. By registering your child, you acknowledge that Ashland Little League  is a volunteer organization and every team will be required to work in the concession stand. It is mandatory that each team donate a minimum of three hours to work in the concession stand during the Fall Season.

Ashland Little League is a 100% volunteer run sports organization. The league has numerous opportunities in areas such as the board, field preparation and maintenance, marketing, sponsorship, coordinating opening day activities, concessions,  coaches, and more.

Parents are urged to come out and volunteer. Umpires, Team managers and coaches are needed for the fall ball season. The experience is a lot of fun and very rewarding. If interested in volunteering, please check our volunteer page on the website. If you registered to volunteer in the spring and submitted the volunteer application, a new background check will not be required for the fall season but please still signup in Sports Connect so we know you are interested. If you are interested in volunteering, you can simply fill out the contact form in the "VOLUNTEER WITH US" link above and a member of the league will be sure to contact you.
