Evaluations

Evaluations are held each year to assess your child skill level in order to be placed on a team. The goal is to make sure that all teams have similar skill levels. Please check the important dates area for more information regarding time and place.

Drafts

Each coach will participate in a draft for their appropriate age group. During drafts every player will be chosen for a team. Baseball/Softball coaches will pick a color scheme.  All age groups coaches will participate.

RBBYS is sanctioned by USSSA.

Game Days

Games are typically played Monday-Thursday at 5:45, 7:15 or 7:30 (just depends on the age group). Fridays are used for rain out dates. 

Practices

Every team practices once during the week (Mon-Thurs) and once on Saturdays until games start.  Once games start all practices are on Saturdays.  Coaches determine their own practice times

Season and Tournament

The season will consist of at least 10 games. Following the regular season, all divisions except for the development league, t-ball and 6U will have a single elimination tournament. Teams will be seeded based on their regular season record.
