Teams will be associated with Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth or Diamond Youth Baseball. Qualifying age for Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth and Diamond Youth Baseball is May 1.
**Please understand that travel around the NRV will be required for all leagues and teams.**

Fall Soccer 2026

Our coed program focuses on skill development, teamwork, and fun while providing a supportive environment for players of all levels.

DIVISIONS
Rookie League (Ages 3-4) - $35
Mite League (Ages 5-7) - $50
Junior League (Ages 8-10) - $50
Senior League (Ages 11-13) - $50
Age cut off for soccer is on or before September 30, 2026.

Rookie league will consist of 1 training session per week for 6 weeks with SWVA Rush Soccer Club.
Mite, Junior, and Senior leagues will begin in August.
All games will be played on Saturday mornings at Floyd Rec Park on Field 2.
Teams will practice twice per week until games begin. Once games begin, teams will transition to one weeknight practice along with their Saturday morning game.
Practice schedules will depend on coaches’ availability, with weeknight time slots available at 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Saturday games will be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.


MITE LEAGUE (Ages 5-7)
7v7 with no keepers
Four 8min Quarters
Size 3 Ball

JUNIOR LEAGUE (Ages 8-10)
7v7 with no keepers
Four 8min Quarters
Size 4 Ball

SENIOR LEAGUE (Ages 11-13)
9v9 with keepers
22 min halves
Size 5 Ball


No heading will be allowed in the Junior or Mite leagues. Accidental heading of the ball will be a "play on" and intentional heading in these leagues will result in indirect kick for opposing team. Participants are encouraged to bring their own soccer ball.

Cheerleading 2026

CHEERLEADING
The purpose of recreational cheer is to provide our entire youth community interested in a positive cheer experience at an appropriate level. It is expected that recreational cheer programs will offer participants the opportunity to have fun while increasing their physical fitness, learn new cheerleading skills, as well as learn teamwork, fair play, leadership, sportsmanship, time-management skills, cooperation, trust, and regard for others.

This program provides an introduction to basic cheer, stunts, and techniques. Cheer squads are assigned to a football team in the corresponding area and age group. League requires travel throughout NRV.

FCPR provides: Cheer Top, Cheer Skirt, Pom Poms, Sweatshirt

*When ordering uniforms, if you're between sizes or unsure, we recommend sizing up. This helps ensure a comfortable fit throughout the season, especially as the kids grow. A slightly larger uniform is usually easier to work with than one that ends up too small. New uniforms take 2-4 weeks before coming in.*

NEW TO 2026
We are excited to announce our new 'Intro to Cheer' division. Open to K-1 participants interested in learning the fundamentals and basics of cheerleading. Motions, jumps, cheer, etc.
Intro cheerleaders will receive pom poms and tee shirt.

They will meet on Tuesdays from 6:15-7:15pm.

Football 2026

2026 Football league offerings include Mini Flag (Grades K-1), Mite Flag (2-3), Mite Tackle (2-3), Junior Tackle (4-5) and Senior Tackle (6-7).

TACKLE FOOTBALL
Part of the New River Valley League, this is a full contact league designed to provide instruction on fundamentals while stressing the importance of sportsmanship. We offer Mite League for 2-3 graders, Junior League for 4-5 graders, and Senior League for 6-7 graders.
Leagues are based on the participant’s grade level entering the upcoming school year.
Home games will be played at Floyd County High School.

FLAG FOOTBALL
This program allows boys and girls to play non-contact football in a fast-paced and exciting environment. Participants must be rising kindergarteners through 2nd graders.

Travel WILL be required for all football leagues.
Flag will travel to Auburn and East Mont. Mite flag may travel through NRV.

AGE CUTOFFS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED IN TACKLE LEAGUES. NO EXCEPTIONS WHATSOEVER .

Birth certificates are now required for the NRV League

FCPR will provide the following equipment;
TACKLE FOOTBALL: Game Jersey, Game Pants, Helmet, Mouthguard
FLAG FOOTBALL: Jersey, Mouthguard, Flag

Parents need to provide practice pants and cleats for tackle players.

Little Buffalo Football Camp 2026

Our 2026 Little Buffalo Football Camp will be held from July 31 - August 1. Camp will be led by FCHS head football coach, Tim Cromer and his staff. Camp is intended to teach the fundamental skills of offense, defense and special teams- all while having a great time!

Camp cost is $10. Camp schedule will go as follow:

Friday, July 31st - 6:00pm-8:30pm
Saturday, August 1st - 9:00am-12:00pm

Youth MMA Summer Camp 2026

Register for our week-long MMA Summer Camp!

Dates: July 6-10
Times: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: 210 Park Dr NW, Floyd 24091
Ages: 8-14

*MEMBER SPECIAL*
All participants that are currently enrolled in the monthly MMA classes will receive a $25 camp discount. (Applied at checkout)

Each camper needs to bring:
  • water in a refillable bottle
  • snacks as needed
  • sunscreen
  • towel
  • fitted mouthpiece (Shock Doctor Strapless Mouthguard recommended)
You can find videos online that show how to fit the mouthpiece.

Optional:
  • bring gear if you have it - campers are not required to purchase new gear for the summer camp, but if they already have gear, we recommend they bring it.
  • boxing gloves, shin pads, and headguard

Campers will learn a variety of MMA techniques and practice in a professional MMA gym! Make sure to pack enough water, snacks, and sunscreen for exercise both in the gym and around the Rec Park (there will be a water station inside for refilling bottles). At the end of the week, make sure to come prepared for an epic water balloon fight and pizza party!
