Floyd County Parks and Recreation youth basketball program emphasizes fundamental skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and positive adult participation with the goal of providing a fun and rewarding basketball experience where young players create a bond with the game and learn life skills at the same time. Leagues are based on participant's grade entering the current school year.

Our winter sports will split into two sessions for the upcoming Basketball/Volleyball Season.

NOTE: Volleyball and 2-7 Basketball seasons will not overlap*

SEASON DATES: Early October - Mid December

REGISTRATION DATES: 8/13 - 10/3

SPORTS: K-1 Coed Basketball & 3-8 Volleyball

Registration for Session I begins on Wednesday, August 13 and runs through Friday, October 3rd.

Late registration will be open until October 10th and all participants will be subject to waitlist. Late registrations will only be accepted if rosters spots are open. 

NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 10/11.

𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙚: K-1 Basketball and Volleyball will not interfere with any fall sports. 

SEASON DATES: Early December - Late February

REGISTRATION DATES: 9/1 - 11/14

SPORTS: Boys 2-7 Basketball, Girls 2-7 Basketball

Registration for Session II begins on Monday, September 1 and runs through Friday, November 14th.

Late registration will be open until November 21th and all participants will be subject to waitlist. Late registrations will only be accepted if rosters spots are open.

NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 11/22.
