2024 Fall Volleyball

Floyd County Parks and Recreation youth volleyball program emphasizes the opportunity to play volleyball and learn what it’s like to be on a team no matter their experience or skill level! Learn to serve, ace and set all while forming lasting friendships with teammates and healthy foundations for a lifelong appreciation of good sportsmanship and active living. Practices/games will be spread throughout the week.

Leagues are based on participant's grade during the 2024-25 school year.

The league will be split into two age groups:

Grades 3-5 (Juniors)

Grades 6-8 (Seniors)

NEW TO 2024-25

Our winter sports will split into two sessions for the upcoming Basketball/Volleyball Season.

NOTE: Volleyball and older Basketball seasons will not overlap*

SESSION I

SEASON DATES: Early October - Early December

REGISTRATION DATES: 9/2 - 10/4

SPORTS: K-1 Coed Basketball & 3-8 Volleyball

Registration for Session I begins on Monday, September 2 and runs through Friday, October 4th.

Late registration will be open until October 11th and all participants will be subject to waitlist. Late registrations will only be accepted if rosters spots are open.

NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 10/11.

SESSION II

SEASON DATES: Early December - Late February

REGISTRATION DATES: 9/9 - 11/1

SPORTS: Boys 2-7 Basketball, Girls 2-7 Basketball

Registration for Session II begins on Monday, September 9 and runs through Friday, November 1st.

Late registration will be open until November 8th and all participants will be subject to waitlist. Late registrations will only be accepted if rosters spots are open.

NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 11/8.

3 team minimum per league. Older leagues game may involve out-of-county travel.

Junior (Grades 3-5)

Floyd County Parks and Recreation youth basketball program emphasizes fundamental skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and positive adult participation with the goal of providing a fun and rewarding basketball experience where young players create a bond with the game and learn life skills at the same time.

Leagues are based on participant's grade entering the 2024-25 school year.
