Floyd County Parks and Recreation

Floyd County Parks & Recreation was created in July 1, 2019. The Department was created to ensure that our communities children had access to a safe, fun and informative atmosphere in which to compete; as well as nurture and grow adult sports and community involvement activities.

The County owns and operates a 42-acre park near the Town of Floyd which was built to serve the citizens of Floyd County. The Park is a valuable asset to Floyd County and we hope that it will enhance economic development and growth for our county.
