2026 Year-Round Cheer

PLEASE NOTE: LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR CHEER SEASON IS JULY 15

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our Year-Round Cheer Program is a recreational program, affiliated with Pop Warner Little Scholars, which focuses on building strong fundamentals and developing individual skills, while participating in both sideline and competitive cheer. Athletes will work towards learning and mastering the cheer basics- including stunts, motions, proper technique, and tumbling. We welcome all experience levels - no prior experience necessary! Year-Round cheer begins with Summer Conditioning in May and June with the official season and practices starting in July. Depending on team performance in Pop Warner competitions, the season can run until early December.

TEAMS
Team placement is based on the athlete's age on July 14, 2026.
Final team placement is determined by the Cheer Coordinator and Coaches based on team registration numbers and the athlete's skill level.

JUNIOR TINY MITE: 3-4-5
TINY MITE: 5-6-7
MITEY MITE: 6-7-8-9
JUNIOR PEEWEE: 8-9-10-11
JUNIOR VARSITY: 10-11-12-13-14
VARSITY: 12-13-14-15-16

COST: $280 + $150 UNIFORM RENTAL FEE
NOTE: ONLINE REGISTRATION PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE UNIFORM RENTAL FEE

$75 due at time of registration to hold your spot
+ remaining balance split between installments

UNIFORM RENTAL FEE
$150 Uniform Rental Fee due at the time of your child's uniform fitting and can be paid via cash or check

Attention: Uniform rental fee is non-refundable. If competition uniform is returned at the end of the season in good condition, a $50 credit can be applied only to the following year's registration fees.

SUMMER CONDITIONING: 6PM - 8PM

SEASON STARTS: JULY 15
Practices start in July - athletes will begin learning sideline Falcon cheers and a full competition routine.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays
6pm - 8pm

* Junior Tiny Mite will follow a reduced practice schedule, days and times TBD

SIDELINE CHEER
Participation in sideline cheer is mandatory at all home football games, away games are optional.
Starting in early August, athletes will cheer sideline at Saturday football games. Football games usually run through late October/early November.

COMPETITIONS
Athletes will attend several competitions starting in October. Depending on team performance in Pop Warner competitions, teams may compete through early December. All of our teams are competitive except Junior Tiny Mite. We will participate in up to 5 MANDATORY competitions.

Pop Warner Regionals: Thanksgiving Weekend

* Junior Tiny Mite will follow a reduced schedule and will perform an exhibition routine at FYD Cheer Jam (October 11) and Pop Warner Regionals (Thanksgiving Weekend).

COMPETITION UNIFORM
Your athlete will be fitted for a competition uniform at the beginning of the season on one of our Uniform Fitting days. Upon completion of the season or when requested to do so, the competition uniform must be returned to the association.

UNIFORM FITTING DATES
* Your athlete must attend one of the scheduled fitting days. If you are unable to attend on your child's team day, you must attend one of the make-up days.

July 7 | Junior Tiny Mite, Tiny Mite | 6pm - 8pm
July 8 | Mitey Mite, Junior PeeWee | 6pm - 8pm
July 9 | Junior Varsity, Varsity, Make-Up Day | 6pm - 8pm
July 16 | Final Make-Up Day

ALL REGISTRATION PAPERWORK MUST BE TURNED IN & ALL REGISTRATION FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE YOUR ATHLETE WILL BE SIZED FOR THEIR UNIFORM AND ALLOWED ON THE FIELD FOR PRACTICE.
