CODE OF CONDUCT

• You MUST have a badge to be on the practice field/sideline
• Be respectful and treat all athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators with courtesy
• NO bullying, threats, or violence will be tolerated
• NO drugs, alcohol, tobacco or weapons are allowed at the field
• Please pick up after yourself and help keep our restrooms clean
• Keep a positive environment and report inappropriate behavior

• Control your emotions
• No profanity or offensive language
• Respect game officials
• Display good sportsmanship

WEATHER POLICY

PRACTICE DELAYS / CANCELLATIONS
All practice cancellations will be posted in the BAND app. We will monitor weather when severe storms are in the forecast. Our ability to hold practice can and will be affected during Florida's rainy season.

LIGHTNING DELAYS
Parents, DO NOT drop off your athlete if severe weather is in the forecast.

If lightning is detected within 5 miles of the field, the lightning detector will sound and the practice/game will be suspended. Practices and games will resume 30 minutes after the last lightning strike is detected in our area. In these instances, athletes will stay with their team and seek shelter under the awning of the High School. We will continue to monitor the weather and assess timing and decide to either wait it out or call practice. Updates will be posted in the BAND app.

COMMUNICATION

We use the BAND app for all main communication with our families. Once you have completed online registration, you will be sent a link to join our private BAND group. Please make sure to check the app frequently for the most up to date information.

If your child will be absent or late, you must inform your coach through the BAND app in advance.
