Merlo Adalin
My name is Merlo Adalin and I am the Youth Development Academy Coordinator for the Rush Wisconsin program. I am also the U9 and U10 YDA head trainer and the head coach of the U10 Team. I also assist in training and coaching the 09G RUSH Team. Prior to joining Rush, I was with Sun Prairie Soccer Club running the U12 and under girls program. Before that, I coached the boys academy for ACE Madison, Madison FC and at Capital East Soccer Club.
My primary goal for the season is for everyone to have fun and improve their soccer skills. We constantly work on ball skills, passing, receiving the ball and concepts of connecting passes in the games. My philosophy at this age level is to foster a positive, supportive and fun atmosphere so that every player has a great experience. Regardless of the player's ability, every member deserves to be treated with encouragement and players should respect each other on and off the field. I look to you to help reinforce these important concepts as well as helping your players spend time practicing with the ball at home.
