Russell has been connected with FFL for over 30 years. First as a player, then as a volunteer, parent, coach, and Board member. He believes in this League and what it stands for in the community. He is committed to working diligently to promote the League values of Community, Accountability, Respect, Education, and Sportsmanship while making sure that Fremont Football and Cheer League remains a place where boys and girls, of any skill level, can go to affordably learn the fundamentals of football and cheer, have meaningful competition, and get better as players, students, and people, in preparation for high school and beyond. |

Kelly grew up around intramural sports in Fremont and they were a big part of her childhood. Her grandchildren now play for FFL. She is excited to be a part of our FFL family and looks forward to growing the league and having community involvement. | |

Regina cheered for 2 years in high school and is now a proud cheer mom! This will be her daughters third year with FFL cheer. Last year was an amazing year filled with great experiences and she is looking forward to another great season. Go Fremont! |

Steve has been a coach with FFL for many years. He's coached youth of all ages in both tackle and flag football. He's spent many years serving on the Board of Directors as well and is a joy to watch on the football field. |

| Tamee Pires Cheer Director
Tamee is a cheer mom at heart! She began her FFL journey as a cheer manager 15 years ago and is still very hands on with our squads to this day. She created and oversaw the Fremont Gems competitive cheer team and was with them every step of the way to their three national championships. This is her 7th year serving on the Board of Directors. |

 | Rueben Rodriguez Athletic Director
Rueben started playing football as a young boy and throughout high school and semi pro. He has taught and coached football in various youth programs and at various ‘title one’ schools from Oakland to Hayward. He has coached at the semi pro football level as an offensive coordinator and spent four years with the Oakland Raiders where he was a part of the fan experience and later, a part of the equipment staff & practice prep for the football team. He hopes to bring the preparedness of an NFL environment to our FFL community to prepare our youth for their wonderful football journey.

Bree has been a part of the FFL family for many years. She began as a cheer coach in 2008. Since then she has coached many sideline teams as well as the 3 time National Champion Fremont Gems competitive cheer team! Currently sharing her 20+ years of cheerleading experience in her 15th season coaching, Bree is looking forward to this upcoming season and getting back into the competitive world is her long term FFL goal.This is her 7th year serving on the Board of Directors. |

Jennifer has been volunteering for many years. She grew up in Union City and has enjoyed being a Team Mom for UCALL, an Asst. Cub Scout Leader for Pack 268 and Booster Club member for James Logan Football. She started coaching cheer for her daughter Dyana who was 4 yrs of age and now together we are a mother / daughter Cheer coaching team. She has coached and directed Sideline / Competition Cheer for Hayward Lancers (7 yrs), Union City Colts (3 yrs.) and Hayward Aggies (5 yrs). She is excited for the new season as her grandson, husband and daughter start their new journey with the Fremont Firebirds. She brings her knowledge and experience hoping to help grow this program. |

Over the past 15 years, Karen has enjoyed being a part of youth sports. Watching her son play soccer for UCSL and becoming a team mom was where she got her start. When we wanted to start playing football, they transitioned to UCFL under SJPAL where she was a team parent, coach, joined their Board of Directors and became Cheer Director and Competition Coach. She retired for a while then an opportunity came up; she has spent the past 5 years with the Hayward Aggies as a Board Member and Co-Director/Competitive Coach. Watching the kids faces light up while doing what they love to do is pure joy! |

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Nick played football and ran track throughout his years in school. Nick's passion for football comes from past generations of family members playing the game. Nick has been involved with FFL for the past 2 seasons as Assistant Coach for Tackle Football and Head Coach for Flag Football. Nick is looking forward to another great season watching these young kids as well as his son learn and hone their football skills to a greater level. Go Firebirds! |

After experiencing one season with her two sons in the league, she developed an immediate interest to make sure that this program succeeds to benefit the youth in Fremont. Fatima has been a part of FFL for the past 2 seasons and is excited to be part of the FFL family. Fatima currently works as an Admin Assistant to the Dean of the Athletics Department at a local community college. Being around student athletes, Fatima understands the meaning and passion behind playing competitive sports. You can always find Fatima on the field cheering the team on as well as encouraging them to play hard but most importantly making sure they are having fun. Gina has been involved with FFL for over 20 years volunteering as a cheer coach, cheer manager, and cheer coordinator on the board. She was a co-founder of FFL’s first Allstars Competition Cheer team. Gina returned to FFL as a parent, coach and business manager and rejoined the board to assist in continuing to provide a quality youth sports program for our community. |

 | Lisa & Steve Caldera Player Agent
Steve and Lisa Caldera will be sharing the role of Player Agent on the FFL Board of Directors and are excited about the upcoming football season! Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA both are loyal Raiders, Dodgers, and Lakers fans and have passed down their passion for sports to their kids, Steven (10) and Eva (13). Having lived in the Bay Area for the past 10 years, they’ve raised their kids in local youth organizations ranging from baseball, softball, basketball, and karate. Steve is best known for being a players’ coach and can always be found cheering the kids on to have fun and do their best. Lisa also supports her daughter’s softball passion by serving as the Vice President for the Fremont Centerville Little League softball program. This past year was their family’s first experience with the FFL league, and they had a great time being a part of the 2021 championship Firebirds football team. They are looking forward to being part of growing the FFL program throughout the local community and can’t wait to get back out on the field soon with their football families! |
