Kelly grew up around intramural sports in Fremont and they were a big part of her childhood. Her grandchildren now play for FFL. She is excited to be a part of our FFL family and looks forward to growing the league and having community involvement.

| Sierra Potter-Guttery Treasurer
Sierra cheered for FFL when she was younger and coached 2 seasons as a jr. coach when she was in high school back in 2012. Now she has a son who is on his 3rd year playing football with the league. This will be her 2nd year back with FFL as a Cheer Coach. And in a few years she plans to have her daughter join Cheer once she’s old enough! |

| Steve Pope Rules Coordinator & Flag Director
Steve has been a coach with FFL for many years. He’s coached youth of all ages in both tackle and flag football. He’s spent many years serving on the Board of Directors as well and is a joy to watch on the football field. |

 | Tamee Pires Cheer Director
Tamee is a cheer mom at heart! She began her FFL journey as a cheer manager 16 years ago and is still very hands on with our squads to this day. She created and oversaw the Fremont Gems competitive cheer team and was with them every step of the way to their three national championships. This is her 8th year serving on the Board of Directors.

Bree has been a part of the FFL family for many years. She began as a cheer coach in 2008. Since then she has coached many sideline teams as well as the 3 time National Champion Fremont Gems competitive cheer team! Currently sharing her 20+ years of cheerleading experience in her 17th season coaching, Bree is looking forward to this upcoming season and getting back into the competitive world is her long term FFL goal.This is her 8th year serving on the Board of Directors. |

Coach Derek has been a coach for both tackle and flag football for over 5 years all around the Bay Area. Through consistent and systematic training, he prides himself on his ability to develop fundamentally sound football players and respectable young athletes both on and off the field. He is extremely passionate about coaching and making a positive impact on each of his players lives.

Angelique joined FFL in 2024. This past tackle season was her first season with us as Angelique volunteered as a team mom and shortly after joined the Board of Directors. From day one she has been committed and dedicated to FFL. She has expressed how much she loves being a part of the community and is eager and excited to be here for another season. Let’s Go Fremont!

 | Christina Barnes Sergeant at Arms
Christina joined FFL in 2024 and brings with her a wealth of experience and a deep passion for sports. Growing up with her sisters, Christina’s love for athletics was nurtured by her dad, who ensured that all of his girls were involved in and enjoyed playing sports. As a dedicated cheer mom and team parent, she is always eager to support her daughter’s teams and foster a strong sense of community. Christina has also served on the board for the FGSA and is currently the PTA Vice President, where her organizational skills and commitment to teamwork have been invaluable. With her experience in leadership, her passion for sports, and her team-oriented mindset, Christina is excited to bring her energy and enthusiasm to FFL, where she hopes to contribute to the growth and success of the league. |

Madeline has been apart of the FFL family for 4 years. She has 2 daughters who cheer and a nephew playing football. Madeline also cheered as a child which has helped her in her role being an assistant coach for FFL. She is going into her second year as a coach and second year serving the on the board.

| Austin Aranda Game Day Field Manager
Austin is a cheer dad of two girls. After volunteering as a team parent, this is his first year on the Board of Directors. He has coached and served as team manager of multiple sports for several years. FFL is excited to welcome his passion for helping youth sports succeed. Go Firebirds!

Sarah cheered for FFL for 3 years as a teen, 1 year in High school and coached for FFL for 3-4 years in 2003-2007. She has a son in football and her daughter is on her second year with FFL. She is excited to try something new with being a team parent and being on the board this year. |

| Jen Sandoval Events Coordinator
Jen Sandoval is a proud Fremont native whose deep community roots run as long as her family’s legacy at Washington High School, dating back to the 1950s. Jen brings both entrepreneurial insight and heartfelt local pride to her role on the board for Fremont Football and Cheer. Raised in an immigrant family and fluent in both English and Portuguese, she embraces her diverse heritage while championing community and cultural inclusion. Beyond her professional achievements, Jen is a dedicated wife and parent to two boys who fuel her passion for football and youth sports. In her new role, Jen looks forward in supporting the FFL family. |
