Harrison Youth Football Families & Supporters,

It is with great enthusiasm that I reach out to you all today to share that Harrison High School Athletic Director Jerry Galema has announced a new head coach for the varsity football program. Kyle Holderfield, former offensive coordinator and associate head coach under Terry Peebles, has been named the new leader for the varsity program. With that, he will also become the Director of Coaching for Harrison Youth Football and will provide us with his vision and direction for our program.

Coach Holderfield has been involved with our program for the last several years and knows the hard work, dedication, and time commitment our programs have invested and what that means to his own program at the high school. As liaison, Coach Holderfield has been integral in the growth of our program and will bring a new vision to our program.

Coach Holderfield, following his announcement as head coach, wanted to share a brief message to our players and families: “I am humbled and excited to take over a program that has had so much success over the past decade. With the numbers and success of the Harrison Youth Football League, this program has a great foundation at the youth football level. I am ready to get to work and help grow the Harrison Football Program at all levels!”

We are excited to welcome Coach Holderfield and can’t wait to work alongside him to continue bringing the Lafayette area the very best youth football experience. As President, I am fully confident in Coach Holderfield’s ability to not only lead a successful program on the field but also build incredible young men of character, and that starts with our program. We are ALL IN and ready to go ALL OUT with Coach Holderfield!
