Expectations for Players, Coaches, Parents/Guardians, & Fans:
Players:
1: Players will follow the coaching and direction of the coaches at all times.
2: No bullying at any time will be permitted. If players are found to be bullying, they will be disciplined with continued instances resulting in removal.
3: No jewelry should be worn - necklaces, earrings, rings, watches, chains, or any other piece that can be described as such.
4: No player will be allowed to return to a practice or game following a major injury. There is a difference between being hurt and being injured and we want to help players learn to battle through adversity (within reason).
5: Any concussion or suspected concussion will result in a player being sat until they can be seen by a licensed physician. We will follow the protocol provided by your medical provider along with USA Football's 'Concussion Recognition and Response.'
6: Players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship both on and off the field.
7: Foul language WILL NOT be tolerated.
8: Players are expected to carry their own equipment to and from the field (helmet, shoulder pads, shoes, etc.) for practices and games.
9: Players should take their academics seriously during the season. Academics and your behavior at school should come first and any parent can request a coach's meeting in an effort to help correct any school issues.
10: BE A GREAT TEAMMATE! Celebrate the team's success as your own.
11: ALL IN! ALL OUT! Give 100% of what you can every single day, every single rep to get better.
Coaches:
1: Coaches will provide leadership and be a positive role model.
2: Coaches will treat each player with the respect and dignity they deserve.
3: Coaches will provide discipline and opportunities for players to learn from mistakes.
4: Coaches will teach the fundamentals of the game of football while ensuring players are having fun.
5: Coaches will ensure the safety of every player in drills, games, and overall. If there is a question about any injury, especially the head and neck, the coaching staff will always err on the side of caution.
6: Coaches will teach and show good sportsmanship through their actions.
7: Coaches will not use foul language in any situation.
8: Coaches will have high expectations for players to achieve their best but not be unrealistic.
9: Coaches will be fair
10: Coaches will ensure every player is given a fair opportunity to participate, play, and be successful.
Parents/Guardians/Fans:
1: Parents/Guardians/Fans will be supportive of every player.
2: Foul language will not be tolerated and will result in potential removal from the facility
3: Any behavior that is deemed dangerous or unsportsmanlike will result in the removal from the facility and will be reported to the TSC for other potential consequences.
4: Parents/Guardians/Fans will allow coaches to coach. We are always looking for more coaches and will welcome any and all to help us coach.
5: Any concerns about player safety, playing time, relationships with coaches/other players should be brought to the attention of the President (Jed Wilkinson) or Vice President (Donny Miller). DO NOT APPROACH A COACH BEFORE, DURING, OR IMMEDIATELY AFTER A PRACTICE OR GAME.
6: Effort over Outcomes! Praise effort, improvement, and fair play.
7: Respect our facility. Harrison and the TSC allows us the usage of their facility and anyone found to not be following facility guidelines will result in your removal.
8: Safety First! Prioritize the safety and well-being of all players. If you notice a safety concern, calmly and discreetly bring it to the attention of our league officials.
9: Respect Our Officials & Their Decisions: Game officials are in charge. Their decisions are final. Do not argue, yell, or make derogatory comments toward officials, even if you disagree with a call. Many of our officials are incredibly experienced and provide us their time to better the game. We are lucky to have them!
