Boise Timbers|Thorns Soccer Club (BTT) is Idaho’s longest running and most successful youth competitive and recreational soccer club providing comprehensive and constant national, regional, state and local youth soccer programming. Enjoy the journey of youth sports with us! Idaho’s proven youth soccer provider. Annually graduating the highest percentage of college bound student-athletes for over 37 years and counting with focus on building a champion’s mentality. BTT is also active in our “community matters” efforts by supporting treasure valley giving efforts and providing a robust scholarship fund for families in need. Boise Timbers|Thorns was created over the past 37 years as the first soccer club in the valley under Boise Nationals (an all Boy’s club). It was formed in 1986 and was the first organized soccer club in the community bringing together the game, community, and building a foundation of developmental success.

Les Bois (an all Girl’s club) and Boise Capitals (both genders) were founded in the following 5 years showing a history through concerted efforts, innovation and servicing that is the best for the kids and the game as main drivers.

From 1986 to current, our club(s) have proven as leaders in the areas of recreational, competitive and elite player and coach development platforms. Across every accolade in the youth and beyond soccer environments, we have the most history and success…ones that continue today and beyond… creating 37 years and more!!

Continually, Boise Timbers|Thorns has provided platforms across all levels! To date we are the only club in the valley through proven programming to develop:

• Valley’s ONLY United States Professional League’s Alliance Club (Portland Timbers – MLS and Portland Thorns – NWSL
• The most USSF “A” license coaches in any state of Idaho youth soccer program
• The most USSF and US licensed/credentialed coaching staff in Idaho
• The most Gatorade high school players of the year; the most Idaho youth soccer association state championships
• The highest annual college placement percentage rate
• Largest number of former and current homegrown professional players
• Highest number of US soccer youth and national team players
• Idaho’s only elite clubs national league (Thorns) and full age US youth national league/NW conference (boys) member club
• Valley’s only privately owned and operated 20 acre soccer complex operator of 2 of Idaho’s largest youth soccer tournaments
