Greg has been coaching soccer for 4 years and has a 9v9 license (in-person), 9v9 license (online), and 7v7 license (online). In addition to coaching soccer Greg was previously a youth Jiu Jitsu Coach. His primary focus is teaching his teams the fundamentals, positioning, and teamwork involved in quality futbol. Coach Greg also strives to teach the boys valuable character traits that will help them through life off the pitch. He works to balance discipline and fun and tries to engage with the boys in a fun, entertaining manner as much as possible. Coach Greg works to teach his athletes that discipline, hard work, and a good attitude will take them much further in life than strictly talent.
Greg grew up in Newbury Park and graduated from NPHS, class of ‘96. He and his wife, Danielle, have been 2 boys (who both play for the club) and a 3 year old daughter. He is a Project Manager for a custom home builder in Malibu and a licensed General Contractor running his own construction company, Branam Brothers Construction, named after his two boys. When not coaching, working, or spending time with his family you’ll generally find him running through the local mountains. He’s completed multiple 50k’s and a 50 miler.
