Alan has 5 years of coaching experience and has a 9v9 License (in-person), 9v9 License (online), and 7v7 License (online). Alan has been playing soccer for 40 years (10 years in Club America) and likes to use his personal experiences playing back home (Mexico) in amateur and professional (2nd and 3rd division) level to teach his teams the importance of fundamentals, good technique, and teamwork. He likes to connect with the athletes so they understand he cares about them and their overall development as athletes and people. Alan is a motivator and also pushes his athletes to get better and not to settle, to work hard, and to be good teammates. 

Alan speaks fluent Spanish and in his personal time loves going to concerts, especially Dave Matthews Band, as well as Cirque Du Soleil shows and Dodgers games. He is an avid sports fan and watches Real Madrid, Cowboys, Dodgers, Club America and Lakers as much as his coaching and work activities allow him to. He enjoys a good hamburger and cold beer.
