Important Update: Age Group Formation Change

Following extensive review and collaboration, US Youth Soccer, AYSO, and US Club Soccer have collectively announced a major update to age group formation.

Beginning with the 2026–2027 season, player age groups will shift to an August 1 – July 31 cycle, aligning more closely with the school year.

This change is designed to:

• Keep players with their classmates and peers

• Create more consistent team environments

• Simplify the overall player development pathway

At NP Elite, we understand that change like this can bring questions and uncertainty—but we want to be very clear:

NP Elite will remain your home.
Your player will continue to have a place here, and we are committed to ensuring that every athlete is supported throughout this transition.

Please do not feel as though your child will be without a team. Our club is actively planning ahead to make this shift as smooth as possible for all players and families. We are here to guide you, answer questions, and provide a stable, positive environment every step of the way.
