10U MODIFIED BASEBALL LEAGUE RULES
The game is 75 minutes or six innings. The clock starts when the plate meeting is finished.
5 runs per inning
Run rule of 10 after four innings.
The book shall be kept every game by the home team
Both coaches and umpires should know the exact game start time to know when it ends. The scorekeeper should note this in the scorebook. No new inning should begin once official time has elapsed unless a tied game. A new inning begins when the last out of an inning is recorded

Stealing is allowed for all bases after the ball crosses home plate unless the coach is pitching.
You are not allowed to steal on the catcher's throw to the pitcher.
No drop 3rd strike
No lead-offs, no balks, and no pick-offs
Sliding into home is not mandatory-but cannot make intentional contact
The infield fly rule does not apply

Unlimited defensive substitutions
If the batter walks, the coach will come out and pitch to their player.
The number of pitches by the coach is determined up to the number of remaining strikes against the player, plus 1. Example: If a player has 2 strikes, 1 strike remains. Coach will pitch up to 2 pitches.
The coach must pitch overhand from the side of the rubber.
If a pitcher leaves the game from the mound, they cannot re-enter as a pitcher.
If the game is tied at the end of regulation, play 1 extra inning. The last batter from the prior inning starts on 2nd base and each team gets three outs. (International tiebreaker)
Makeup games will be scheduled by League Leadership
Substitute player rule: If a team is short of players, it may pick up another payer from that age group. However, that must be announced by each team if a player is picked up, and the player must be positioned in the outfield and bats last. Seven players are acceptable.
If a team plays with 7 players, there are no outs recorded for the missing player in the lineup.
Outfielders must be no closer than the edge of the grass
All metal bats must have USA Baseball or USSSA stamps on them. Wooden bats will be allowed but must be no longer than 33 inches and have a diameter no bigger than 2 ⅝.
Pitching rules will be as follows:
