Danville Little League Baseball is now registering teams to play in a fall ball league being organized by Cascade Youth League. They are a part of the West Central Youth Baseball League that includes North Putnam, South Putnam, Greencastle, Monrovia and more towns which often play in this fall ball season as well. This is a recreational baseball league where games will be played on Sunday afternoons starting August 11th (with no games Labor Day weekend) and the season will end before fall break with a single elimination tournament September 28-29th. Practices each week that will be determined by the coaches and held at Ellis Park. Many players are also involved in other fall sports and activities so attendance at practice is encouraged but not required. Fall ball leagues are set up so that a player plays in the division they will be in for the spring season next year so for some that means they will be playing up in a different one than they played in this spring.
You are able to register for the following divisions:
6U - Must be no older than 6 by May 1, 2025; COACH pitch
8U - Must be no older than 8 by May 1, 2025; COACH pitch
10U - Must be no older than 10 by May 1, 2025; PLAYER pitch
12U - Must be no older than 12 by May 1, 2025; PLAYER pitch
**EXCEPTION: IF YOU HAVE A PLAYER WHO WILL BE 13 YEARS OLD ON MAY 1, 2025 BUT WILL STILL BE IN 6TH GRADE THEY ARE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY!**
Our friends at Avon Youth Sports have invited any players who are 13-16 years old to join their junior/senior division this fall since that age group is not offered with our league. Please visit www.ajaaonline.org for more information and to register before July 1st.
The cost is $75/player which includes a uniform (shirt and hat) plus league fees.

We also will need head and assistant coaches for each division so if you have any interest in helping, please sign up when you register your child!
The DLLBB Board of Directors thank our coaches for all of their time and effort by giving them a monetary credit that can be applied within the following year to a DLLBB spring or fall baseball registration.
For this shorter fall season that will be $25 for head coaches and $15 for assistant coaches.
After registration has ended, we will determine how many teams we can field in each division and get coaches assigned to them. There may be a short evaluation process the following week to try and split the teams up evenly or else this will be done by the board and coaches. We should have teams formed by the last full week in July to allow a couple of weeks to practice before games start.
