OVERVIEW

• Co-ed division ages 6 to 8

• 7 to 10 players per team

• Instructional division (no scores or standings)

• 1 game per week (1-1.5 hours in length)

•  1 practice/skill session per week

•  Coaches will be pitching and catching

• Base paths are 40-45 feet

•  Players must wear uniform including hat and shirt

BATTING

•  Every player gets up once per inning
•  Each hit is a single
•  Batters remain on base.
•  Each batter gets 5-7 swings, then use a batting-tee
•  No walks, bunting, leading, stealing, or tagging up

• No on deck batters

FIELDING

• No players in the catcher position
• Rotate players so they play all the positions & try to alternate each inning.

• Half-way through the season coaches who agree can switch to playing with outs

• Please remember this is instructional baseball. 
  

• Sportsmanship and teaching fundamentals should always be encouraged. 

•  During the Season, only authorized NFLL managers, coaches or personnel are permitted on the field during practices and games. 

• A parent or guardian must remain during all practices and games.
