50/70

What is 50/70 or Intermediate League?

50/70 is a new concept to many parents, even those that played Little League in the past. The field is larger than the traditional Little League field, but smaller than the High School or College-sized field. This has been a revolutionizing concept to help transition from the small field to the big field. In this division, it is the first time playing “real baseball”. There are leads, pick-offs, infield flies and more. For more advanced and/or experienced players, we encourage kids to move to this field as soon as possible. We suggest moving to this division at 11. Most kids aged 12 should move up to this division.

Can my kid still play in the Little League World Series if he/she plays in this division?

YES! When district team tryouts occur, he/she may tryout for the traditional Little League World Series or even play in the 50/70 World Series, as well. All players are eligible for either.
