Glenmoore Eagle Little League

  • What are districts?

    Districts is the all-star team made up of players from the little league in any given age group. There is a tryout for each district team for the divisions the league will participate in. The tryout result coupled with previous evaluations and consideration of league play all combine to choose the top 12 players from each age.

    At Ages 9 and 10, they play for the district title against other teams in District 28.
    At 10 and 11, the team can advance as far as super-regionals against other teams from up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
    At 12, these are the teams that play for the Little League World Series.

  • What is Finegan?

    Finegan is the 9 year old District 28 Tournament played each year at Hickory Park. This makes an already exciting time for the kids even more thrilling. The “all-star” or “district” team play in this tournament against the other little leagues in our district.
