Verona Little League is a volunteer organization, which requires the participation of its members’ families to ensure its success and future sustainability. In typical years, All families are required to complete four hours of volunteering per player (maximum of 8 hours per family) during the VLL regular season. More hours may be required for players participating in extended or tournament season.

Volunteer Opportunities

Assessments:
Help us get the season kicked-off right by assisting in various roles for VLL Assessment Day including check-in, helping volunteers get signed-up, and raffle ticket distribution. This is a one-day volunteer opportunity.

Concessions:
Concession sales are our largest fundraising effort. Signup for concessions Volunteers for concession must be at least 18 years old (no exceptions).

Complex Cleanup & Field Maintenance:
Help keep our fields in great shape throughout the season with field care, prep, and cleanup during these available workdays. No experience required. Volunteers for complex cleanup can be any age, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Team Parent:
Help your player's team run smoothly by coordinating a team contact list, relay important updates from the league, be available to field questions from parents, and coordinate team activities. Registration for Team Parent is available once teams are formed.
