Free Agent Registration - Spring 2025

Who is this for?

Free agency registration is only for individual players who do not have a team. If your child wants to play but does not have a team, this is the correct registration option. Free agents will be placed on a team by the league.


Important: Do NOT register as a free agent if you are joining a specific team!

If your child is joining a specific team, please do not sign up as a free agent. Instead, reach out to your coach for your team code and register under Team Registration Spring 2025 tab under Registration Info.

Limited Spots Available – Register Early!

Free agent spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all spots are taken, a waitlist will be formed. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you via email in the order they joined the waitlist.

Divisional Breakdown

NJ Elite Flag Football League is a non-contact, competitive co-ed format. There’s no tackling, diving, blocking, screening or fumbles. The following divisions are 6v6 playing format. Our divisional breakdown is as followed:

PEEWEE CO-ED Grade 2-4
JUNIORS CO-ED Grade 5-6
SENIORS CO-ED Grade 7-9

Location/Schedule **NEW FIELD LOCATION**

Games will be held at the turf field at Frank D. Zaccaria Memorial Park. The address is 310 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. All games will be played on Sundays. Please plan for games to take place within the 9:30AM - 12:30PM window. Game schedules will be created and posted 1-2 weeks prior to the season start date.

All teams are guaranteed 7 games: 6 regular season games and 1 playoff game. Only the teams that win their playoff games will advance to the championship game. Teams that lose in the playoffs are eliminated and will not play in the championship. No seeding games or 3rd place games will be scheduled.

Divisional Jersey Uniform

Participants will receive an NFL FLAG reversible jersey and flag belt/flags, theirs to keep that is included in their registration! (Refer to our sizing chart for jerseys as the NFL FLAG styles/sizes have recently been updated).

.Team Registration will be from January 10, 2025 - March 6, 2025. 
Free Agent Registration will be from January 31, 2025-March 6, 2025
Grades: 2nd - 9th

IMPORTANT SEASON DATES FOR THE SPRING 2024 SEASON:
Season First Game: Sunday, March 23, 2025
Season Expected Playoff Date: Sunday, May 11, 2025 (Mother's Day, please plan accordingly)
Season Expected Championship Date: Sunday, May 18, 2025

No games will be played Sunday April 20, 2025 in observance of Easter.

***Dates are subject to change only due to weather- related concerns. We will not accommodate schedule changes for individual teams. Please plan accordingly.***

Photo and Video Waiver
We regularly take photos and videos during games and events to promote the league on our website, social media channels (including Instagram), and other marketing materials. These images and videos help us celebrate our players' achievements and showcase the fun and competitive spirit of our league.

Consent:
By registering your child for the NJ Elite Flag Football League, you grant us permission to capture, use, and share photos and videos of your child for promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to
- Posting photos and videos on our website.
- Sharing content on our social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).
- Using images and footage in brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials.

Agreement:
By registering your child in the NJ Elite Flag Football League, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this photo and video waiver. You agree to allow NJ Elite Flag Football League to use photos and videos of your child as described above. You understand that participation in the league implies consent to be photographed and filmed for promotional purposes.

Privacy:
We are committed to maintaining the privacy and safety of our players. No personal information (such as names or contact details) will be disclosed in conjunction with any photos or videos without explicit consent from a parent or guardian.
