Please know we will provide additional information re: programming, etc. We also wanted to get tryout dates, to families.

Few notes:

Every girl must attend a tryout to be considered
Every girl must attend a tryout, before July 22nd (no exceptions)
Those requesting a private tryout, must schedule that with UASA no later than July 3
Offers will be extended, as appropriate

Auxiliary Tryouts

Private tryouts must be scheduled by 07/03 and completed before 07/22.

Offers will be extended as appropriate.

Tryouts will run 5-7:30pm on the scheduled date. Specific time is TBD based on the number of sign ups.

Age Divisions and Breakdown

8U - Must be 8 or younger

9U - Must be 9 or younger

10U - Must be 10 or younger

12U - Must be 12 or younger

14U - Must be 14 or younger

The UA Gloves are the travel arm of the Upper Arlington Softball Association. UASA proudly supports Bear Cub Softball, the UA Golden Gloves and UA's school teams. The teams run a year round program starting in August with practices and game play, a home Halloween Tournament in October, Winter indoor training session, spring practices and league play, as well as summer tournaments. We take great pride in kids being kids first. At the same time, organically the softball kids of UA are getting stronger. These teams are competitive in tournaments, and to do that - a player and family needs to have a commitment to the work... and the fun!

Annual Player Fee estimate: $1100 - $1400/year. The league accepts a deposit and then 4 monthly payments.

And we love our multi-sport kids! It teaches them to be a competitor... getting games of all types in. At the same time - we ask that in the Spring, softball is the priority. As the team develops over the season, attendance at practice, games and tournaments is important.
