Parkside’s Fall Baseball program is the perfect way for players to keep swinging, learning, and having fun after the spring season wraps. Designed for current and incoming Major (11-12 year olds) and Minor (9-10 year olds) division players, Fall Ball offers valuable extra reps and coaching to help players sharpen their skills and confidently transition into the next age level.
With a relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere, the focus is on development, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game. The schedule is intentionally light—one weeknight practice, typically Fridays, and one Sunday game—making it an easy, manageable commitment for families.
Fall Ball is also a great way for players to stay connected, build friendships, and develop team chemistry heading into the 2027 Spring season. And unlike the spring league, there are no residency requirements—players from outside the Parkside boundary are welcome to join, no paperwork required.
The 2025 Fall Ball season starts in early September and ends by October 31. Teams have Friday afternoon practices and games on Sunday.
Two IMPORTANT things you need to know about Fall Ball
-
Unlike our summer league, there are no catchment residency requirements for Fall baseball! This means that we DO NOT need any residency documents or school forms. It also means that players outside our traditional service area are welcome to register.
-
One of the reasons we offer Fall baseball is to help younger players prepare for upper division play in the Spring. If your player plans on moving up to the "Minors" division for 9-10 year-olds or "Majors" division for 11-12 year-olds next Spring, we encourage you to sign them up for that level in the Fall.
